Baguette French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 French baguette (preferably sourdough), sliced
- 6 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions

Mix all ingredients, except bread in a large bowl.

Add the pieces of bread and allow to sit, stirring occasionally, until all the batter is soaked up.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add bread and cook until golden brown.
