Set an oven rack into the center position. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Add wet ingredients: oil, sugar, milk, and vanilla Add dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon Gently fold until just combined (don’t overmix). If the mixture seems very thick, add up to a 1/4 cup milk. Fold in nuts. Pour into pan and bake 50-60 minutes (at the 50-minute mark, insert a toothpick or knife. If it comes out with a few moist crumbs, it's ready. If it streaks wet batter, give it 5 more minutes and check again.
