Fudgy Brownies

Fudgy Brownie

Ingredients

  • 7 tablespoons (98g) butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cups (9oz/260g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (7oz/200g) packed light brown sugar
  • 4 (2oz/57g each) large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoons fine salt
  • 1 cup (3.5oz/130g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (3.5oz/100g) cocoa powder
  • 5 oz (133g) roughly chopped 45% chocolate

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly grease an 8x12 inch pan.

Combine melted butter, oil, and sugars in a medium-sized bowl; whisk well to combine.

Add the eggs, vanilla, and salt; mix well.

Sift in flour and cocoa powder; mix well.

Pour into greased baking pan.

Bake 20-25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out almost clean.
