Plantain Wraps (Gluten/Grain Free)

For a delicious treat, make a wrap with peanut butter and Nutella.


  • 2 plantains, unpeeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Place plantains into a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove and drain.
  3. When cool enough to handle, peel the plantains and place in a food processor. Add salt.
  4. Process until it forms a ball.
  5. Wet your hands and roll the plantains into golf ball sized balls.
  6. Roll each ball in between 2 sheets of greased parchment paper.
  7. Cook in a dry skillet until speckled brown.
  8. Enjoy warm for the most delicious results.
  9. Re-heat in dry skillet after they are stored in the fridge or freezer.
