For a delicious treat, make a wrap with peanut butter and Nutella.
- 2 plantains, unpeeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Place plantains into a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove and drain.
- When cool enough to handle, peel the plantains and place in a food processor. Add salt.
- Process until it forms a ball.
- Wet your hands and roll the plantains into golf ball sized balls.
- Roll each ball in between 2 sheets of greased parchment paper.
- Cook in a dry skillet until speckled brown.
- Enjoy warm for the most delicious results.
- Re-heat in dry skillet after they are stored in the fridge or freezer.
