Dad’s Tacos

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs or carne asada, flank, or strip steak
  • Shredded cheddar or jack cheese
  • El Nopalito roasted salsa or Tacupeto Molka Fire Roasted Salsa
  • Diced red or white onions
  • Minced cilantro
  • 1 recipe guacamole
  • 1 pack Mi Rancho Tortillas, Flour, Fajita Size
  • 1 pack Mi Rancho Taco Sliders

Grill the meat: Meat can be marinated in olive oil, lemon/lime, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper for as long as you desire, or just sprinkle with salt and pepper. After the meat is cooked, chop into small pieces.

Tortillas – Heat a dry skillet and cook tortillas directly on the skillet until heated through. You can melt a little cheese on the tortillas while they warm, if desired. To assemble:

Place a pile of meat in the tortilla and top with guacamole, cheese (unless already melted), diced onions, cilantro, and salsa.
