Brown Sugar Spiced Salmon

  • 4 (6oz) salmon filets 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Preheat oven or air fryer to 400-F.
  • In a small bowl, coat the salmon with oil, then add the salt and pepper. 
  • Mix the remaining sugar and spices and rub over the salmon.
  • Add the salmon skin side down to sheet pan or air fryer basket. Cook for 10-15 minutes in the oven or 6 minutes in the air fryer. The internal temperature should reach 145-F.
