- 2/3 cup Original Bisquick mix or homemade (see below)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt or garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 8 chicken tenders
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- Heat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix all dry ingredients together in a shallow bowl.
- Beat egg into another shallow bowl.
- Dip a piece of chicken into the egg mixture and then place it into the bisquick mixture. Press to coat; place on baking sheet and repeat with the rest of the chicken.
- Drizzle each piece of chicken with about 1 teaspoon of the butter.
- Bake 12 minutes, turning after 6 minutes.
Homemade Bisquick (recipe found here)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tablespoons baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ½ cup butter, cold and cubed
- Add flour, baking powder and salt to food processor. Pulse to combine.
- Add butter and pulse until mixture is coarse and resembles cornmeal.
