Preheat oven to 400-F. In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add 2-3 additional tablespoons of sugar if you like a sweeter cornbread. Mix in the oil (it will look like wet sand). Add the milk and egg and mix. Fold in the creamed corn. Pour into well greased 8-10 inch cast iron skillet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.Ultimate Skillet Corn Bread
