Pre-heat oven to 350-F. Grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are completely softened. Set aside to cool. In a mixing bowl, add oats and crackers/breadcrumbs, egg (or flax), ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; mix well. Add turkey to the bowl and mix well with your hands. Place into loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a sheet pan. Coat a thin layer of ketchup over the top. Bake about 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 160-165-F. Allow to cool 5 minutes before slicing.Favorite Turkey Meatloaf
