Roasted Red Quinoa

I learned this simple technique from a chef at a restaurant. It's a great way to make large batches. It results in quinoa with a nice, tender chew.

Ingredients

  • 1 part red quinoa
  • 3 parts hot water water
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400-F.

Put the quinoa and hot water in a sheet pan and cover with heavy duty aluminum foil.

Bake for 45 minutes or until tender.
