Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 medium red onions, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeño chili, stemmed, halved lengthwise and seeded

Instructions

in a medium bowl, stir together the vinegar, white sugar, and kosher salt.

Stir in the red onions and jalapeño chili.

Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
