Incredible Homemade Teriyaki Beef Jerky

This beef jerky is incredibly delicious and very easy to make. You'll never want to buy pre-packaged beef jerky again!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 1/2 pounds top round, top sirloin or similar cut of beef, (placed in the freezer for 30 minutes to make slicing easier)

Instructions

Stir together the soy, sugar, sriracha, Worcestershire, garlic, ginger and lime juice in a resealable plastic bag.

Thinly slice the frozen beef against the grain.

Place the meat in the bag and marinate the meat, refrigerated, for 4 hours or overnight.

To bake: Preheat the oven to 200-F (convection if you have it).

Line a baking sheet with foil and set a baking rack on top.

Lay the slices of meat flat on the baking rack in a single layer.

Bake until the jerky is completely dried, 2 1/2 to 4 hours.
