Avocado Cilantro Sauce

Avocado Cilantro Sauce

This sauce is perfect for fish tacos and also makes a great dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped cilantro
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup water (optional for thinning)

Instructions

Using a food processor, pulse the garlic clove until chopped

Add the rest of the ingredients, except the water, and process until smooth.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl and stream in the water while running. If using as a sauce for tacos, I add the water to loosen it up, but if I'm making as a dip, I don't add water.
