Sesame Scallion Noodles

This recipe is from the box of Trader Joe’s Thai Wheat Noodles. It can also be made with Lotus GF Rice Ramen Noodles


  • *1 package Thai Wheat Noodles or Lotus Gluten Free Rice Ramen Noodles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup scallions, chopped

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons tamari sauce, soy sauce, or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt

  1. *If using ramen noodles, they will need to be boiled first.
  2. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in skillet over medium high heat.
  4. Add the garlic, ginger, and scallion; cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add noodles and sauce. Toss until the noodles are fully coated by the sauce.
  6. Lower heat, and simmer – stirring occasionally until the sauce evaporates and the noodles start to brown.
