Plantain Wraps (Gluten/Grain Free)

For a delicious treat, fill the wrap with peanut butter and Nutella.


  • 2 plantains, unpeeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Place plantains in a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce, and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove, and drain.
  2. When cool enough to handle, peel the plantains. Place in a food processor with salt.
  3. Process the plantains until it forms a ball.
  4. Remove from the processor and with wet hands, roll the plantains into golf ball sized balls.
  5. Place a ball in between 2 sheets of greased parchment paper, roll into a tortilla sized disk.
  6. Pre-heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the plantation wrap onto the heated skillet; cook until speckled brown. Flip and repeat on the other side.
  7. Best served immediately. Re-heat in dry skillet after they are stored in the fridge or freezer.
