For a delicious treat, fill the wrap with peanut butter and Nutella.
- 2 plantains, unpeeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Place plantains in a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce, and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove, and drain.
- When cool enough to handle, peel the plantains. Place in a food processor with salt.
- Process the plantains until it forms a ball.
- Remove from the processor and with wet hands, roll the plantains into golf ball sized balls.
- Place a ball in between 2 sheets of greased parchment paper, roll into a tortilla sized disk.
- Pre-heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the plantation wrap onto the heated skillet; cook until speckled brown. Flip and repeat on the other side.
- Best served immediately. Re-heat in dry skillet after they are stored in the fridge or freezer.
