Pesto Basil

Ingredients

  • 4 oz fresh basil leaves
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cups (6.15 ounces) walnuts
  • 1.4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (2.75 oz) olive oil

Instructions

Place basil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor. Pulse a few times to combine.

Alternate adding a bit of walnuts and bit of olive oil, pulsing and mixing until emulsified.
