Overnight Yeasted Waffles

Adapted from Americas Test Kitchen

  • 1 3/4 cup low-fat milk

8 tablespoons butter 

1 1/4 cups (10oz) all purpose flour

1 tablespoon sugar 

1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

1 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

Add milk and butter to a pot and 

cook over low heat 3-5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients.

Whisk vanilla and eggs until well combined.

Add milk mixture to flour mixture. Stir in eggs. Cover and refrigerate 12-24 hours.

Stir batter. 

Spray waffle iron and add 1 cup batter.
